Job Description
This is a contractor position for a Marketing Communications Manager for New Product Introductions. The Marketing Communications Manager is responsible for creating customer facing communication deliverables. The NPI Marcom Manager will lead the process with Field Marketing and Business Unit Marketing to create final customer messaging. In addition, this position will manage other projects related to each NPI.
Summary of Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Field Marketing and Business Unit Marketing teams to write and edit customer messaging for launch materials such as data sheets, web, emails, surveys, interactive guides and catalogs.
- Coordinate with Creative Services (Graphics & Photography) team to create final deliverables
- Work with Project Management to deliver materials on-time
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Communications, Advertising or related
- Must have 5 years experience working in Marcom project management
Strong organizational skills and experience in complex project coordination/management
- Experienced at writing and editing product feature/benefit/value copy
- Understanding of how to define the type of message based on the audience
- Experience working with large teams and remote geographic entities
- Ability to grasp technical product concepts and drive to customer value
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure on projects with tight deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Marketing Automation Tools (Marketo or Eloqua)
- Content Management System (Drupal)
