Description
This person will be is responsible for driving the recruitment, on-boarding and enablement of resellers to drive sales of our market leading DDoS protection device.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Recruit new channel partners.
- Ensure proper on boarding of partners through to certification
- Establish, develop and maintain strong professional sales relationships with current and future Channel Partners.
- Create and analyze sales reports, identify issues contributing to success or shortcomings and take any corrective action.
- Support and leverage other channel efforts, field marketing, product launches and product promotions as well as certifications and specializations.
- Keep current with our product release information including sales materials, product roadmap, features, applications, competition and disseminate to partners as appropriate.
- Meet/Exceed Partner Sales Bookings/Revenue Goals
- Perform business metrics reviews and analysis of each Channel Partner’s performance.
- Establish and maintain positive & proactive relationships with partner sales reps/management to build mindshare and drive sales activity.
- Create and execute a territory business plan focused on demand creation, sales growth, and partner sales development.
- Aid in developing monthly and quarterly strategic initiatives that will result in increasing the Channel Partner monthly bookings.

- Consultative sales skills and good overall relationship management skills, solution sales oriented
- Structured and well organized; ability to prioritize and precision in forecasting

- Travel when necessary to partner events to represent Arbor and or present our solutions to both partners and end customers of partners.
Qualifications
Experience and Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree 5+ years Channel Account Manager experience
- Experience managing distribution partners such as Tech Data and Ingram Micro
- Strong background with networking and data center security products
